Casa de la Unidad translates to House of Unity, and it is a place where Community Alliance of Lane County (CALC), Springfield Alliance for Equity and Respect (SAfER), and Escudo Latino work together to create a home-like community resource center here at Springfield, Oregon. Casa de la Unidad was established in 2021 with the purpose of becoming a welcoming, safe space for underserved and underrepresented communities to volunteer, organize, offer ideas, and gather in community.
