The organization\u2019s focus is evolving to deepen youth engagement and civic participation across Lane County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Proceeds from the sale will strengthen CALC\u2019s financial foundation and expand core programs that empower young BIPOC leaders. These include the UdA (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calclane.org\/es\/citywide\/\">Uni\u00f3n de Activistas<\/a>)<strong> <\/strong>program and its new extension, <em>Serving Justice<\/em>\u2014a mobile initiative supporting youth entrepreneurship, career development, and community advocacy through a reimagined food truck model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSelling the building was a tough decision, but necessary for our next chapter,\u201d said Co-Director Teresa Gutierrez. \u201cCALC\u2019s legacy doesn\u2019t reside in four walls\u2014it lives in the voices of our youth and the communities we uplift.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Board Chair Melissa Cari\u00f1o added, \u201cThis space nurtured a movement. Now, that movement continues beyond the building\u2014with stronger impact and broader reach.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As CALC turns this page, the organization extends deep gratitude to the volunteers, staff, and supporters who have helped shape its legacy.
