Community Alliance of Lane County (CALC) began in 1966 as a local chapter of Clergy and Laymen Concerned, mobilizing against the Vietnam War. With leadership from diverse communities, CALC today works in a multi-issue, anti-racist way on social justice issues.

Mission Statement

CALC's Mission is to work for a society free of bigotry, upholding human rights and human dignity. CALC seeks to educate, promote and mobilize individuals, groups and movements who are committed to peace and justice. CALC works to promote public policies based on social and economic justice.
