Dennis Johnson Dennis Johnson is a clergy person in the United Church of Christ. He is the chaplain for Veterans For Peace of Lane County and a member of their Justice and Witness Board, of the Public Policy Board of Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon, and of the Board of Directors for the Central Pacific Conference of the United Church of Christ. He has a deep interest in justice issues for veteran and LGBT concerns. |

His political and academic work has always addressed intersections of race, gender, and sexuality, centering mainly on issues related to the U.S. prison crisis and the concerns of queer communities of color. |
